System shows error while viewing pdf file in web browser

Release:

Windows 7 Professional 32_bit

Adobe Reader 10

Problem:

System shows the below error message while trying to view any .pdf file from web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer and Firefox)

Solution:

1.     Open the Adobe program from Start à All programs à Adobe reader 10.

2.      From the menu choose Edit à Preferences àGeneral.

3.       Uncheck the option "Enable Protected Mode at startup”.

4.      Restart the Adobe Reader and web browser.

While uninstalling Adobe Reader (ERROR:-Windows installer is not running after restarting the service also)

Problem:

While uninstalling Adobe Reader it displays error dialog box

Error:

 ”Windows installer is not running”

(Note: Tried after by restarting the windows installer service in “services.msc” also)

Resolution:

1. Quit all Windows programs.

2. Click Start, type Run in the Search box and then press Enter, type msiexec /unregister in the Open box, and then click OK.

3. Click Start, type Run in the Search box and then press Enter, type msiexec /regserver in the Open box, and then click OK.

4. Restart your computer.

After these steps tried to uninstall Adobe, Now the problem solved .
